Venice is rad. Thats the only way to describe it. Canals everywhere, with winding streets that all look so similar. One night, we walked past the same Hotel three times, while searching for "Famous" people. We were so close to seeing JT (That's Justin Timberlake for those that don't know). Except for it wasn't JT, just a close look alike.
Our first day was spent just walking the streets and riding the boat bus up and down the grand canal.
Next, we explored St Mark's Square and the Basilica, along with Doge's Palace and the Museo Correo. The Basilica was too cool. Intricate Mosaic tiles, from hundreds of years ago.
Our last day was spent touring the annual Architecture Exhibit and the world renowned Biennial. What were the chances of us being in Venice during this exhibit.

St. Mark's Square at night. Very few people around. During the day, this entire square is filled with thousands of people, all taking photos and feeding the pigeons.

When the tides gets to it's peaks, waters comes up throughs the drains and floods certain areas. They then set out walkways, so your boots don't stink.

Overwieght people and Gondolas don't mix. Weight distribution needed.So we are now back in London and Darcie is so looking forward to getting home to pet Peems. Mike is so looking forward to continuing on in Barcelona with the most Fantastic Mr. Brian Skinner.

Umm...still super jealous! More so of Mike that he gets to go to Barcelona! But yes...I imagine Peems is getting a little restless missing you both. I'm still trying to think of a way to bring Keaton to the airport with me...but I think it will be best if he just stays at daycare. He'll get his nap in! And be ready to see you on the weekend. Can't wait till you get back...I mean...geez...you guys should go away more often. Gregg and I have finally had some peace and quiet! We even went on a date with SOMEONE ELSE! Gasp! Not as fun as you guys!...but free for us! Ahahaha!
